Paypal – Will It Change How We Pay?
On November 3rd Paypal plans to open its platform to external developers. Looking at past experience of opening other platforms to contribution by the public(Facebook, Linkedin, iPhone to name a few…), this looks like a brilliant idea by Ebay and PayPal to brand themselves as the leading online (and maybe also offline?) billing and collection platform for individuals, startups, small businesses and in the future also for large and mature corporations. So far, they released a teaser to show us how they look at the future of billing. If only 20% of what they present will actually happen, we are facing a revolution:
