It’s a Girl!!!
Long ago I promised myself not to be the “proud dad” that publishes every little “pips” of his child in all the internet and news channels available… OK, so I promised, so what…
It all changed in one second when I saw the first ultrasound pictures of my not yet born daughter last Monday at Dr. Goldberg’s office. My heart filled with some strange pride sensation that until now I can’t really explain – “here she is, kicking and moving, your daughter”. Suddenly the realism of me becoming a dad hit me so hard that I can’t wipe the smile of my face. Even funnier than me becoming a dad is the notion that Shibi (my wife) is going to be the mother of this child. I can’t help but going back in memory to our days together in the Lola Bar in Allenby St. Tel Aviv, when life seemed so much less complicated – I am the (muscular 
) bartender, she was the (most beautiful) waitress and that’s what it was. No other titles. No boyfriend-girlfriend, no husband-wife and certainly no daddy-mommy… How far did we go???

Apparently, being a “proud” parent is not something you can really control – it comes in together with you genes (especially if you are Jewish from Polish origins)…
